Create a booking
Reserve a vehicle for a customer from the operator app — pick the customer, car, dates and any extras, and the price is calculated live.
You can create a booking for a customer at any time — for a phone reservation, a walk-in, or a repeat customer. The price is calculated live from your rates, seasons, extras and fees as you build it.
Start a new booking
There are a few ways in:
- The New booking button in the top bar (available from any page).
- On the Calendar, drag across the dates on a vehicle’s row — the car and dates come pre-filled.
- On a customer’s profile, choose New booking — the customer comes pre-filled.
Fill in the booking
- Customer — search and select the customer (or create one first from the Customers page).
- Vehicle — pick a car. Vehicles in maintenance are hidden, and if your account is limited to certain locations you’ll only see cars from those branches (plus any marked available everywhere).
- Pick-up and return dates — set the rental window. If you move the pick-up past the return, the return snaps to match.
- Extras — toggle any add-ons (child seat, GPS, etc.).
- Protection — if you offer protection plans, pick one or leave it on the default. The chosen plan can change the deposit hold.
- Delivery / return location — if you offer delivery or one-way rentals, set them here.
The footer shows the running total and the deposit hold so you can confirm the price before saving.
Save it
Choose Create booking. The booking is created and opens on its own detail page, where you can take payment, check the car out, send a payment link, or download the agreement.
